Welcome to W.J. Turner Elementary.  I am proud to be the principal of this amazing school.  I am from Puerto Rico, a small island in the Caribbean.  I am happily married and have a blended family that I enjoy spending time with.  In my free time, I like to read and watch action movies.  I have been in education for over 18 years. I received my Bachelor's in Science from East Central University and my Master's in Education Administration from Concordia University Texas.  I have taught pre-kindergarten bilingual, first grade bilingual, and fourth grade bilingual.  I was an assistant principal for over five years, before becoming a principal.  I strongly believe that all students can learn and reach their maximum potential with quality instruction from our outstanding teachers.  We are here to help students and families have an excellent educational experience.  I invite you to partner with us to help us reach our vision: Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow.  We are the Turner Tigers. Bienvenidos a la primaria W.J. Turner. Estoy orgullosa de ser la directora de esta increíble escuela. Soy de Puerto Rico, una isla pequeña en el Caribe. Estoy felizmente casada y tengo una familia mixta con la que disfruto pasar tiempo. En mi tiempo libre, me gusta leer y ver películas de acción. He estado en educación por más de 18 años. Recibí mi Licenciatura en Ciencias de East Central University y mi Maestría en Administración de Educación de Concordia University Texas. He enseñado pre-kinder bilingüe, primer grado bilingüe, y cuarto grado bilingüe. Fui subdirectora durante más de cinco años antes de ser directora. Creo firmemente que todos los estudiantes pueden aprender y alcanzar su máximo potencial con instrucción de calidad de nuestros destacados maestros. Estamos aquí para ayudar a los estudiantes y sus familias a tener una excelente experiencia educativa.
